Our Company prices are below average cost than Other Pest wildlife Companies.
Pricing depends on exterior/interior fixing, clean-up, trapping, exclusions, travel fee and what animal we are working with.
For example; with Rodents such as mice, we would in install exterior exclusions and block their passages like garages. we would place an attic multi-catch boxes with professional grade rodenticide bait. (Bait is Proven to work under a professional license)
Don't pay yearly for removal, when you can have it done properly the first time
Ground trapping is based on animal and travel fees.
* There are different types of trapping. Ground trapping costs A LOT less than other trapping such as Attic and Roof *
* Depending on the severity job (on request) we provide insulation removal/renewal and all fecal clean-up will have sanitizing. *
*Most animals are euthanized by state law*

If you find a wild animal that appears to be sick or injured, look for these signs that it needs help:
Parent animals often leave their young for a few hours while they gather food. If you see baby wildlife alone, look for these signs that they need help:

Absolutely not!
Scaring an animal might be effective in the moment, however it comes with consequences.
Without a professional to monitor the situation, you could cause the animal to relocate itself to other harder places in your home, to your neighbors home, among other things. If it decides to relocate and its potentially sick, then you could be putting others and even other pets/ wildlife in danger.
Save yourself the trouble and allow a professional to properly handle the situation.
Not only will we keep the animal out of your home but we will lessen the contact with a potentially sick animal.
Mothballs is an old remedy for getting rid of everything from moths, cockroaches, to squirrels in the attic. But do mothballs really work to repel animals from your home?
The label of any pesticide product, including mothballs, will tell you exactly where and how the product is to be used. Using the product in any other way could put you and others at risk.
There are two different types of mothballs. In one type, the main ingredient is naphthalene, and in the other the main ingredient is paradichlorobenzene.
Mothballs will sublimate. When in sublimation, these mothballs will go from a solid to a gas, then will release fumes. These fumes are toxic to moths and moth larvae, and should kill them or deter them from that area. However, that's if you use it properly inside airtight containers.
They contain either naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene as the active ingredient. Because they are regulated by EPA, any use of the products in any manner not in accordance with the product’s label is illegal, Meaning it is not to be used as an animal repellent, and should be used as written on label.
Mothballs can be used safely. But, in order to use mothballs safely, you should put them in sealed containers so the fumes can build up and become potent enough to kill the moths. You need to consider the high levels of naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene in your home.
These fumes can be very dangerous to young children.
Chemicals in mothballs are toxic to humans and pets.
If you can smell the mothballs, you are being exposed to these harmful chemicals. Children or pets will mistake mothballs for food (or) candy and will eat them, which can cause serious harm to the body.
* According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, naphthalene may damage or destroy red blood cells and could cause cancer. Exposure to gas from mothballs can lead to headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, eye and nose irritation, and coughing. More serious effects, like liver and kidney damage, can be caused by longer-term exposures.*
Mothballs are not meant to be used as animal repellents and should not be used in ways that allow people or animals to become exposed !
The best way to get rid of unwanted nuisance animals in or around your home is to humanely trap them and then seal the openings, so that the animals cannot re-enter, this is something we can easily do for you at a low price!
Don’t expose your family to the mess of repellents!
The most effective way to handle the situation of any pest/ nuisance critters is to use a professional company.

Does this repeller work?
To quote, McGill University, article on how effective this particular item is,
" Seems like an attractive idea though, right? Just plug a charger-sized device emitting undetectable sound into the wall, wait about 2 weeks, then BAM, your garage oasis is insect and rodent free without the use of chemical pesticides or inhumane traps. Sounds great! Too bad these devices have never been proven to actually work. "

Are these devices a scam?
According to The Federal Trade Commision, " Between 1985 and 1997, the FTC brought law enforcement actions against six companies that allegedly made false and unsubstantiated claims about the effectiveness of ultrasonic devices in controlling rodent and insect infestations."

In Summary,
The Plugin UltraSonic Pest Repellent has a very slim chance of working although, if successful, pests eventually return as they become accustomed to the sound produced by the device. Many companies claim these devices to repel anything from rodents, insects, birds, deer and more. While there is no solid research on the effectiveness, many brands and models are still being made.
There are reviews of people being scammed out of their money and other people reviewed them as being effective. These devices range in price from $10 to $800. The reason they are so popular amongst the public is that many devices position themselves as "safer" or "easier" ways to control the pest population in homes.
While these devices can "prove" to work in test environments, they do not represent how well they work in real-world situations such as your home. In daily situations, these devices signal and sound are weakened by almost everything found in homes. Furniture, carpet, curtains, rugs and much more reduce the signal because they absorb the frequency. Most of the plugin ultrasonic pest repellers you see on the market today are produced and shipped from China.

In Recent Developments of the world wide pandemic, Covid- 19, has many people believing bats to be the main source of this deadly virus. However Zoologists and disease experts say otherwise told by CNN, " the destruction of natural habitats, coupled with the huge number of fast-moving people now on Earth -- has enabled diseases that were once locked away in nature to cross into people fast. "

Is it wrong to blame these creatures for a world pandemic?
-- Short Answer : Yes, It's wrong to blame bats and other wildlife for this Pandemic.
Bats are a crucial part in the planet's ecosystem and many species are critically endangered or vulnerable to extinction. Carrying the idea that Bats are inherently bad can cause many people to harm them further. Like most animals, Bats do carry many diseases however most do not affect them. According to an article by The Conversation, " Normally, these viruses remain hidden in bats’ bodies and ecosystems without harming humans. People raise the risk of transmission between species when they encroach on bats’ habitats or harvest bats for medicine or food.", They also go on to say, " on a 2019 study suggesting that bats carry a gene mutation, which may enable them to remain healthy while harboring such viruses. But while the mutation may be of interest from a public health perspective, understanding where this novel coronavirus came from requires understanding what makes a bat, a bat. "
***We must all do our part in protecting these wonderful creatures as well as each other. Make sure to follow the CDC and government recommendations on preventing the virus from spreading to yourself and others. As we, WILDANIMALCONTROLANDHOMEREPAIRSLLC, will do our part by removing any nuisance animals from your home, ensuring your family home safety from diseases, animal damage and more. ALL OHIO BATS ARE PROTECTED BY LAW, All professionals are required to remove them safely from residential locations, unless they are tested positive for rabies then euthanization is required ****

**Bat houses that are located outside of your home are a temporary fix. During the winter, bats will leave the bat house for a winter roost. They may end up returning to your home especially if not patched up properly. For a more permanent fix, allow a professional exclude them from your home. ***
Let Professionals exclude them from your home and kept out in nature where they belong.
"Rabies is a preventable viral disease most often transmitted through the bite of a rabid animal. The rabies virus infects the central nervous system of mammals, ultimately causing disease in the brain and death. The vast majority of rabies cases reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) each year occur in wild animals like bats, raccoons, skunks, and foxes, although any mammal can get rabies. " -CDC
Ways to Prevent:
For Pets:
1. Yearly checkup with up-to- date vaccinations
2. Keep pets away from other wildlife, supervise pets
3. Call professionals like wildlife control, for wildlife removal or stray removal
For People:
1. Leave wildlife alone
2. Know the risks and signs of rabies
3. If bit/scratched, immediately wash wound thoroughly with soap and water. talk to a healthcare provider asap.
4. vaccinate your pets.
5. Be proactive in preventing rabies. If you are in need of rabies shots, it can be very expensive, roughly $1,000 plus. Caution saves lives. Let professionals like Wildlife Control handle wildlife and strays

" From 1960 to 2018, 127 human rabies cases were reported in the United States, with roughly a quarter resulting from dog bites received during international travel. Of the infections acquired in the United States, 70% were attributed to bat exposures. " - CDC

" There is no scientific evidence backing up this claim. Plenty of people who study wild copperheads and work with them daily have never smelled cucumbers associated with these snakes, even in areas where large numbers of them gather for the winter. Some people have described Copperhead musk as having a “melon or cucumber-like” odor, and it is possible that some people interpret the musk odor this way" - wsed.org
There is a lot of misinformation out there on copperhead snakes.
If you smell Cucumbers, you most likely are smelling any snake's musky odor.
1.) Copperheads will interbreed with other snakes to create more dangerous snakes.
- while this is generally false, some copperheads and cottonmouth breeding can occur
2.) Copperheads and other snakes are more venomous as juveniles.
- Juvenile "venomous" snakes have less venom than their adult counterparts
3.) Copperheads mate in trees.
- Generally they are not found in trees especially when mating, though on occasion they hunt & hang in lower branches, as their bodies are not made for climbing
4.) Making a lot of noise frightens snakes.
- snakes lack external ear openings meaning they are unable to hear, they do however feel vibrations through the substrate extremely well
5.) If a snake bites you, suck the venom out of the wound.
- this method only extracts only an extremely small percentage of venom and can actually do more harm than good
6.) Copperheads smell like cucumbers.
- any snake that can produce musk, from their scent gland, can be perceived in many ways; like cucumber. Just because you smell cucumber does not mean a copperhead is near. Smelling a musk odor HOWEVER does mean a snake is close
7.) All swimming snakes are venomous.
- Most snakes that you'll see in the water in the United States are not venomous.
Copperhead snakes are most abundant in Northern Georgia and Alabama, north to Massachusetts and west to Illinois. They are located in Ohio along with Massasauga Rattlesnake and Timber Rattlesnake. Just like most other snakes, copperhead are non aggressive. They will take a defensive posture only when directly threatened. The bite, while painful and capable of producing severe illness, rarely results in death.

" The musk is secreted from the cloacal scent gland, which explains why it comes with a bonus dose of urine and feces. Many snakes produce it, and it's a complicated mix of organic compounds. It seems to be useful for many things " -gizmodo.com
Most Snakes produce musk for many reasons like; selecting a mate or marking territory. Female snakes are normally more Musky than their male counterparts.
